Note: During his brief reign, Smpad of Cilician Armenia issued this bronze pogh, showing the king on horseback, riding right while holding a scepter, symbolizing authority and vigilance. The reverse features a cross pattée with inward-flying doves, reflecting the kingdom’s Christian faith and hope for divine protection amid turbulent times.
