Note: Al-Mustakfi ruled during the later Abbasid period, faced numerous challenges including political unrest and financial difficulties. Madinat al-Salam, known as Baghdad, was the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate and a vital center of administration, culture, and commerce. The Madinat al-Salam Mint played a crucial role in producing coins that facilitated economic transactions within the caliphate and beyond, contributing to Baghdad’s prosperity and significance.h
