Note: Aurelian was a Roman emperor who ruled from 270 to 275 AD. His reign is notable for the restoration of the Roman Empire’s boundaries after a period of turmoil, and he played a crucial role in reuniting the fragmented empire. Aurelian’s rule extended across most of the Roman territories, and his military campaigns were significant in defending and consolidating Roman power. The obverse features a radiate and cuirassed bust of Aurelian facing right. The radiate crown symbolizes his divine favor and status as a ruler under the protection of the sun god, Sol Invictus, while the cuirass signifies his role as a military leader. The reverse shows a woman standing right, presenting a wreath to Aurelian, who stands left holding a scepter.
