Note: Antoninus Pius was a Roman emperor who ruled from 138 to 161 AD. His reign included the provinces of Britannia, Gaul, Hispania, and Cappadocia. This period was marked by internal stability, legal and administrative reforms, and the consolidation of the Roman Empire. The obverse features a laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with slight drapery on the far shoulder. The laurel wreath signifies his imperial authority and achievements. The reverse shows Mount Argaeus with trees and Helios standing on the summit, facing left, holding a globe and a long scepter. Helios, the sun god, symbolizes light and guidance.
