Note: Constantine I the Great, also known as Flavius Valerius Constantinus, was a Roman emperor who ruled from AD 306 to 337. He is best known for being the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity and for founding the city of Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul). The obverse features a diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right. The diadem signifies his imperial authority and divine favor, the drapery denotes his noble status, and the cuirass (armor) highlights his role as a military commander.Ā  The reverse depicts two soldiers standing facing each other, each holding a spear and shield. Between them are two military standards (signa). The standards represent the military units and their pride, while the soldiers symbolize the strength and unity of the Roman army.
