Note: Maximianus was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 286 to 305 AD. Appointed as co-emperor by Diocletian, he was instrumental in the establishment of the Tetrarchy, a system designed to bring stability to the Roman Empire by dividing power among four rulers. Maximianus was primarily responsible for the Western Roman Empire, focusing on defending it from internal and external threats.Ā  The obverse features a radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Maximianus facing right, seen from behind. The radiate crown signifies divine favor, the drapery highlights his noble status, and the cuirass emphasizes his role as a military leader. The reverse shows Jupiter, the king of the gods, presenting Victory on a globe to Maximianus. This imagery symbolizes divine support and the bestowal of victory upon the emperor.
