Note: Antiochos VI Dionysos, also known as Antiochus VI, ruled the Seleucid Kingdom during a tumultuous period in the 2nd century BC. He ascended to the throne around 145 BC and faced numerous challenges, including internal revolts and external threats from rival powers such as the Parthians and the Romans. Antiochos VI’s reign was marked by political instability and military conflicts as he struggled to maintain control over his kingdom’s territories. Despite his efforts, he was eventually defeated and killed in battle around 142 BC, leading to further fragmentation of the Seleucid Empire.
