Rev: Goat standing to left; Ī‘Ī™Ī“ĪŸĪ£Ī ĪŸ around

Note: Aigospotamoi, situated in Thrace, was an ancient Greek city known for its strategic location along the Hellespont. One the obverse head of Hera, the queen of the gods, symbolizing her divine status and connection to the city. On the reverse exhibit goat, possibly a reference to the city’s name which translates to “Goat Rivers,” represents local fauna and reinforces the city’s identity on its coinage.
