Note: Tiberius II Constantine was Byzantine Emperor from 574 to 582 AD. He succeeded Justin II and faced challenges including conflicts with the Sassanian Persians and Slavic tribes. Tiberius attempted to stabilize the empire’s finances and maintain diplomatic relations with the Persians. His reign saw the introduction of the solidus coin, a stable gold currency. Despite his efforts, Tiberius’ reign was short, and he died leaving the throne to Maurice.
