The Artuqids were a Turkmen dynasty that emerged in the aftermath of the decline of the Seljuk Empire, controlling parts of Anatolia and al-Jazira. Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslan was one of the prominent rulers of the Artuqid dynasty, known for his efforts to maintain stability and prosperity in the region.
