Note: Licinius I was a Roman emperor who ruled from AD 308 to 324. His reign was marked by his role as a co-emperor under the Tetrarchy and his subsequent conflicts with other emperors, including Constantine the Great. His administration was focused on maintaining control over the Eastern provinces and managing internal and external challenges. The obverse features a radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Licinius I facing right. The radiate crown and cuirass highlight his imperial dignity and military strength, signifying his role as a divinely favored and authoritative leader. The reverse shows Jupiter standing left, holding a scepter and Victory on a globe. An eagle stands before Jupiter, holding a wreath in its beak, symbolizing victory and divine favor. A bound captive seated right behind the eagle represents defeated enemies, reinforcing the theme of imperial triumph.
