Note: During the reign of Constantine I and his successors, a series of commemorative coins were issued that celebrated various aspects of Roman history, mythology, and imperial iconography. These coins served not only as currency but also as powerful symbols of imperial propaganda and ideology. The Follis of Constantinopolis and Victory exemplifies how Roman coinage was used to promote imperial authority and celebrate imperial achievements. The depiction of Constantinopolis on the obverse underscored the importance of Constantinople as the new political and administrative center of the empire.Ā  The reverse portrayal of Victory conveyed themes of military prowess, security, and divine favor, essential aspects of imperial symbolism.
